MK Communications LLC Announces Official Registration as a U.S. Federal Government Contractor
May 2010 — MK Communications LLC — the Connecticut-based agency that provides public relations, media relations, copywriting, and technical editing — recently announced its official registration with the U.S. Federal Government as a woman owned, SBA self-certified small business.
Public agencies or private companies doing business with the government that are seeking support in these professional services can now readily find the agency listed in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) System. The CCR serves as the primary supplier database and single entry point for all federal government contracting.
“In order to provide greater benefit to our current and future clients,” said Micky Komara, principal of the firm, “we registered MK Communications LLC with the CCR. In addition to the competitive benefits we provide through our core services, our official status as a small, woman-owned business could only help our clients to land and win government contracts.”
MK Communications has successfully provided copywriting and PR services to companies doing business with the government for nearly a decade. Deliverables include:
Request for Proposals (RFPs) ■ reports to Congress ■ contract submittals ■ project documentation and summaries ■ engineering studies and assessments ■ LEED and environmental documentation ■ master plans ■ area development plans ■ government manuals and web sites ■ resumes ■ cover letters ■ and press releases
About MK Communications LLC Since 1992, MKC has successfully provided award-winning communications services — public relations, media relations, copywriting, and technical editing — to clients that range from start-ups to publicly-held companies across numerous business sectors.
